Windows 10 and 11 · v0.6.0

One keyboard and mouse across two PCs, laid out like your desk.

Push the cursor off the edge of a screen and it appears on the other PC exactly where it physically should, whatever the resolutions. Keyboard, clipboard and shortcuts follow.

Free 7-day trial · 29 USD one-time · the second PC never needs a key

Isometric desk: two 4K screens below, two 2K screens above, a portrait screen on the left, the cursor crossing from B up into E
Why millimetres

Pixels lie about where a screen is. A tape measure doesn't.

7680 vs 5120 px

No dead zones

By pixel count two 2K screens cover only two thirds of two 4K screens. DeskStitch reads each panel's physical size from the monitor itself and lines the edges up on the desk.

597 × 336 mm

Same speed everywhere

Mouse travel is converted to millimetres and back, so one hand movement covers the same distance on a 4K or a 2K panel. Windows scaling never enters the picture.

1 mm nudge

Drag your desk into place

The first map is built from both PCs' display settings. If a screen stands a few centimetres off, drag it in the editor; edges snap.

How it works

Three steps, no accounts.

01

Install on both PCs

One installer. On first start it asks a single question: is this the PC with the keyboard and mouse?

02

Pair with a code

The client shows a pairing code. Type it into Settings on the host once. The link is encrypted end to end.

03

Check the desk map

It is built from both PCs' display settings. Drag a screen if it stands somewhere else. Done.

DeskStitch status window with the desk map, details and log
The status window

Everything on one screen. Everything else in the tray.

Connection state, the live desk map with the cursor, latency, which screen has control, and a log you can read without a manual.

What it does

The whole KVM, none of the hardware.

Finds the other PC

Both PCs discover each other on the local network. A pairing code shown on one side, typed once on the other, encrypts the link.

Keyboard, held keys, layouts

Every key travels as a physical scan code; held modifiers are handed over cleanly when the cursor crosses.

Clipboard follows the cursor

Text and images copied on one PC paste on the other. Nothing is stored, nothing leaves the LAN.

Corner protection

Hot corners and close buttons stay safe: the cursor will not slip across at a screen corner.

Jump keys and a home key

Ctrl+Alt+1…9 jumps straight to a screen. Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Esc brings the cursor home if anything ever feels stuck.

Stays out of the way

A tray icon and one status window with the live desk map, details and log. Optional autostart with no prompts.

Layout editor

Drag the map until it matches the desk.

Screens are tiles in true proportion. Drag one, edges snap to its neighbours; arrow keys nudge by 1 mm, Shift by 10. The map is shared with the other PC the moment you finish.

Questions

How much is it?

29 USD, once, for the PC with the keyboard and mouse, after a free 7-day trial. The other PC never needs a key. No subscription, no account. Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay; the key is shown right after payment and e-mailed to you.

How does the trial work?

Install on both PCs and use everything for 7 days. When the trial ends the client keeps showing its screens, and the host asks for a key before switching again.

Can I move the license to another PC?

Yes. On the old PC open License and click Deactivate this PC, then enter the key on the new one. If the old PC is gone, the new PC can free the seat itself when you enter the key. Activation needs internet once; afterwards the app checks in about once a day and keeps working offline for 30 days.

Which languages does the app speak?

English, German and Spanish. It follows the Windows display language; change it under Settings → Language.

More than two PCs?

Not yet. DeskStitch is built for exactly two: one host, one client.

Does it work in games?

On the host, yes: your keyboard and mouse are never intercepted there. On the client, games in exclusive full screen and some remote-desktop sessions ignore injected input.

What if my screens are not where Windows thinks they are?

Open Edit layout and drag the screen to where it stands on the desk. Edges snap; arrow keys nudge by 1 mm.

Is it a Mouse Without Borders or ShareMouse replacement?

For two Windows PCs with screens of different resolutions, yes: those tools place screens by pixels, DeskStitch by physical size. They win if you need more than two PCs or a Mac.
