Report a problem.
An e-mail is enough. No account, no form, and a person answers, usually within one working day.
1. Copy the diagnostics
In DeskStitch, open Help → Copy diagnostics (zip + summary) on the PC that shows the problem. Explorer opens with the zip selected and a short summary lands on the clipboard. The zip holds the logs, your desk map and the monitor list; the pairing code is removed. If DeskStitch does not start at all, skip this step and say so.
2. Send the e-mail
The button opens your mail program with a short template. Fill it in, paste the summary, drag the zip into the message and send it.
If you write the mail yourself, these four lines save a round trip:
DeskStitch version: (status window subtitle, e.g. 0.6.0) Which PC shows the problem: host / client / both Windows version on that PC: e.g. Windows 11 24H2 What happened, and what did you expect?
Prefer GitHub?
Bugs and ideas are also welcome as issues on GitHub. GitHub asks you to sign in first and greys out the New issue button until you do; that is GitHub's rule, not ours. Without an account, e-mail is the way.
The troubleshooting page covers the usual suspects: SmartScreen, the firewall prompt, VPNs that block LAN traffic, wrong characters from a different keyboard layout, and the cursor landing in the wrong place. Lost your license key? It can be sent again to the address you paid with.
