Windows SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC" the first time. Click More info, then Run anyway. If your antivirus quarantines the installer, add an exception: DeskStitch installs a keyboard hook and injects input on the other PC, which is exactly what a KVM does and what scanners are suspicious of. Compare the SHA-256 above if you want to be sure of the file.

Run the installer on both PCs. Accept the administrator prompt. When it finishes, DeskStitch starts and asks one question.

Pick the role. "This PC has the keyboard and mouse" on the host; the other option on the client.

Pair. The client shows a pairing code. On the host, open Settings, paste it, Save. Green within seconds.

Check the desk map. Built from both PCs' display settings; if a screen stands somewhere else, Edit layout and drag it.
