DeskStitch vs ShareMouse
ShareMouse is the established paid option, runs on Windows and macOS and scales to nine computers. DeskStitch does one thing it does not: line up screens of different resolutions exactly.
ShareMouse places monitors on a pixel canvas in its Monitor Manager. Its Pro edition adds a "size compensation" option to soften mixed-resolution edges, and the Standard edition for two computers is limited to two displays per computer. The free edition has no clipboard sharing and no password protection.
DeskStitch does the alignment from the monitors’ own physical dimensions, for any number of screens on two PCs, in every edition, because there is only one edition.

Keep ShareMouse if
- one of the PCs is a Mac;
- you need more than two computers;
- you use file drag and drop or shared displays;
- you already own a license.
Switch to DeskStitch if
- two Windows PCs with screens of different resolutions;
- you want alignment by physical size, not a compensation setting;
- 29 USD once beats 99.95 USD once;
- you want to move the license between your PCs without asking anyone.
In one sentence
ShareMouse is broader, DeskStitch is more exact and a third of the price for the two-Windows-PC case.
