What DeskStitch is

DeskStitch is a software KVM: it lets one keyboard and mouse drive two Windows PCs, and moves the cursor between the screens of both as though they were one desk. It is deliberately narrow. It does exactly two PCs, Windows only, and it places screens by their physical size in millimetres rather than by pixels, which is the one thing it does that the alternatives do not. The comparison page says plainly where other tools are the better choice.

Who makes it

DeskStitch is built and maintained by one small independent publisher, not a venture-funded company and not a volunteer project. The first public version shipped in September 2026 and releases have been frequent since; every one of them is listed on the changelog, including the security fixes.

There is no investor, no growth target and no data business behind it. The product is paid for once, by the people who use it, which is why there is no account system, no subscription and no telemetry.

How support works

Support is an e-mail address, info@deskstitch.com, read by the person who writes the software. There is no ticket portal and no account to create. Most replies go out within one working day. Bugs and ideas are equally welcome on GitHub, and security reports have their own page.

If DeskStitch does not work on your setup, say so within 14 days of buying and you get your money back. That is written into the terms, not offered case by case.

Buying and who you are buying from

Payments run through Stripe, which acts as the seller of record and issues your receipt. The licence key itself is generated by DeskStitch, signed, and checked on your own PC. The activation record exists only so that one key does not run on more PCs than it was sold for; what it contains is set out in the privacy page.
